Rick is an active educator both privately and for a number of summer schools.
He has worked for several years on Burnley, Wavendon and Glamorgan Jazz Summer Schools teaching jazz and theory to students from early teens to late 70’s.
As well as these positions, Rick has held a permanent position tutoring on the popular MEhr Clef Jazz Education Agency. This has seen Rick teach alongside Stan Sulzmann, Steve Waterman, Jeff Clyne, Tina May and Lee Gibson. Tutoring on these courses has gained Rick a wealth of experience accompanying and teaching vocalists.
